OA6 misting offers an effective method of saving energy by exploiting the principle of adiabatic cooling. This natural process, used in industry to save large quantities of energy and improve the performance of air-cooled cooling towers and air-cooled condensers, relies on the evaporation of water into the air to produce a drop in temperature.
The cooling capacity of these devices decreases as the temperature rises, particularly during periods of increasingly long and intense heat. OA6 misting reduces the temperature entering the condensers by 7 to 10°C (depending on the outside temperature). The hotter and drier it is, the greater the adiabatic cooling performance. So with an OA6 high-pressure misting unit, you can enjoy the stability and reliability of your cold chain, even in very high temperatures.
Installing and setting up an OA6 misting kit for a condenser is quick and easy, with immediate results. The misting system, consisting of a pump, is connected to a drinking water supply. This pump increases the water pressure up to 60 bar to provide fine, even misting.
